GRACE + ROHAN
Have you ever been to a Hindu wedding?? This was my first one, but it completely blew me away! First of all, the colors and the details were GORGEOUS!!! I hope these photos show just how amazing it was. Second the ceremony was such a beautiful bond between two people. All of the family members have a role in the ceremony and it really is the joining of the two families. I learned a ton about the different traditions -- they walk around a fire seven times, the feed each other, and their parents tie their scarves together literally "tying the knot" (which is apparently where that term comes from!) There's way more too, but I'm probably not the best person to describe what it all means!
Oh, another cool thing. Before the ceremony, there is the Baraat. Where the groom's family walks (with music, so its more like a parade) the groom to the ceremony. Did I mention the groom comes in ON A HORSE??? It was awesome. It was also a dance party and I can't think of a better way to start a wedding ceremony. Scroll down and you'll see what I'm talking about!!
Grace + Rohan, put so much detail in every part of the day and was amazing watching it all come together. I am so obsessed with this day and these two and wishing them all the happiness in the world!! Also, super duper excited that this wedding was featured on Junebug Weddings!
